WORDSPEAK
CHAPTER 1
One thing that I have come to know and believe in these twenty seven
years that I have been on earth is that God is interested in the affairs of my
life. I have gone through what many would describe as shit but my father has
ensured that all things work for good for those who love Him and that is why I
love Him more as He specializes in turning ashes into beauty.
I am not here to force you to convert to Christianity but the truth
is that there is a superior being out there who cares for us so greatly. Those
who say that humans came from monkeys should tell us why is it we have not seen
a monkey turn into a human or better still I think it is easier to believe in
snow white and the seven dwarfs than it is to believe in Darwin’s theory.
There are people even up to this date who are as short as dwarfs and
there are princesses till to date but with monkeys naaaaaaa. What I’m trying to
say is that for everything that is said to exist there must be an evidence. God
is real but the thing is that He is real in simple things that we all like to
ignore. God is real in the labor room when a woman is pushing with the strength
of ten muscular men to give birth, a painful process that results in a creature
coming into this earth. God is real in the soil and dirt that you soak your
seeds in and harvest great crops. The human body is meant to reproduce cells
when they die out but why is that one day they just stop doing everything and
we die? God is also real in death when He takes back the breath that He gave to
us. When He takes back the breath, we are now meant to face our eternity.
We say that wind is moving air but the truth of the matter is that
wind is God moving in our atmosphere. The bible says in the book of Genesis
that in the beginning the earth was formless and desolate and that the spirit of
God was moving upon the waters. I want you to know that before your mother gave
birth to you, you were formless and desolate but one thing is that the spirit
of God was moving upon the waters that would later form you. Why do you think
they say water is life? They say so because the giver of life had His spirit
roaming in it. Seventy percent of your body is water; the earth’s surface is
also seventy percent water. So where is the thirty percent going? That
percentage is you and me and until we accept the simple true fact that God
really does exist, then God will simply remain a large mystery that roams
around you but if we draw close to Him then we will be one hundred percent sure of
His mercy as we let His word speak.
