Going Home: RIP Janet and Kevin

 Last week we paid our last respects to our classmate, Kevin Maina Wangui. He was only 21 years but death took him. It is said that he allegedly committed suicide but we still ask ourselves if he was so drunk, how did he tie a rope and climb a tree. If he did so then we are so angry that he didn’t trust any of us to share his misery with. What was burning him inside? As if that is not enough, my Friend and brother Walter Akolo yesterday lost his loving wife, Janet Ciru Akolo. They were a great pair and as much as I didn’t know the wife, I could tell from Walter that she was all he needed. I cannot say much but Walter you need to be strong just as she was strong when with you. Cherish those precious memories because they make everything worthwhile. Am still in shock and that is why I haven’t even called you. I got to know about Walter last year while I was surfing the web about freelancing in Kenya. Nairobi Aviation; the baboons are laughing

Last night a certain journalist made a name for themselves but as they did so, many students were put to shame. This is the cry of the genuine student who attended classes faithfully and even asked their parents to send fees. We should all stop laughing at and making jokes about students from Nairobi Aviation College. Nairobi Aviation students, Nakuru campus take to the streets on 2/2/2015 Most of them are victims of a circumstance. My main question is why didn’t the journalist interview a real student? Why did their “lecturers” do it? Well it all comes down to desperation. Brothers and sisters, desperation is such a bad thing. There is desperation that is so wicked that it makes you want more and more like grabbing land in Karen and then as if it is not enough, you grab a school playground. Desperation can also come in the form of satisfying an urge there and then like asking for Sh. 4000 to forge a certificate and pay rent. You do remember that Esau sold his birth right ...
