The coming of the American President, Barack Obama was more of a homecoming; it was the rebirth of a nation. Every Kenyan had something to look forward to. There was no Kamau, Otieno or Wambua. There was only one word on our lips and that word was Obama. It was obvious that we all owned a piece of POTUS and our very own PORK was more than happy to host the son of the soil. As Kenyans we were not hosting an American President, we were welcoming back one of us, a man with Kenyan blood in his veins. Question is why do we always trade insults at each other simply because we are of different ethnicities? Who in their right mind chose their tribe? Who taught themselves their mother tongue?
