Yesterday, a friend of mine called me and told me that she had been dumped by the love of her life. It hurt her like hell and she could not believe that it was actually over. Just two days ago they were calling each other sweet names but now she had been greeted by sarcasm and she felt so low and cheap. It is said that he allegedly committed suicide but we still ask ourselves if he was so drunk, how did he tie a rope and climb a tree. If he did so then we are so angry that he didn’t trust any of us to share his misery with. What was burning him inside? As if that is not enough, my Friend and brother Walter Akolo yesterday lost his loving wife, Janet Ciru Akolo. They were a great pair and as much as I didn’t know the wife, I could tell from Walter that she was all he needed. I have a friend whom at this moment I would like to call Nancy. I met Nancy in church and she was in the protocol department. She is one of those ladies who help with cooking for the pastors and bishops; you can call them the temple bread makers. Nancy is very quiet and very beautiful.
