Let us go Oriental

For all creation the first point is the heavens. Heaven is represented by the initial Hexagram belonging to the 64 Gua cycle 乾. This hexagram is known as Qian and is a representation of the force responsible for creation and that which stirs growth and life.

It is necessary that one thinks about how nature nature and its essence affects not only the world but also the environment. This is to enable one comprehend why the particular Gua has been interpreted as such. Give some thought about natural laws of physics that cannot be mutated and how they affect any living thing on the planet. What about the ever changing cycles of the sun rising and setting each day with life flourishing and falling then flourishing again as seasons change?

Nature seems to have a common center and this is reflected in all things ranging from generations succeeding each other to the ripples on water. This Gua signifies constancy, the power to create, a right standing with a Supreme Being and harmony. It brings about growth that is new and does away with darkness. The effects spread to all parts and are permanent.

The Qian 乾 has characteristics that depict nurturing but it also comprises of Yao lines that are unbroken. The lines are six in number. The Gua is completely yang thus there is nothing in it that can be related to feminine nature. Initiative, courage together with the capability of taking advantage of opportunities when they arise and bring about change. At the center of this Gua is the power of going for what you really desire above all things.

Wanting growth and wishing for it to take place is not the matter here but as indicated by Qian乾, time could be the essential element when it comes to achieving all that you dream of. For the earth to be productive the ground must be worked on. Diligence, faith hard work and patience should also be applied and every person should make an effort to improve themselves. They should also ensure that their success is based on a proper foundation since opportunities come to those who are well prepared for them.

There are some things that should be part of you even as you get ready for success. These are  nobility and respect towards others. Just as a plant reaches out for light to grow so is it for the human. The aim of every person should be honesty in all that they engage in and nothing less than respect should be shown to all the persons that they come across.
