How to Cope in a Difficult Environment

There is no such thing as utopia, this is the real world. God is good but the world ain’t fair.
So you are in a difficult or unfriendly environment and you feel like you are going to throw in the towel the next day?
Well sit tight and buckle up because I am going to share some practical things that have worked for me and I made it.
1.    Watch your tongue
You came there and found them so they know better than you. This simply means that you keep out of the cheap politics. Simply agree to everyone who calls you aside but keep your comments to yourself. Judas was with Jesus even to the last meal and had to betray Him with a kiss simply because he looked like Him. The person to betray you looks just as you.
2.    Follow the rules
Yes the rules give you a pain in the ass but who do you think is having it easy. Toe the line. It is better to be told that you are sucking up but truth is rules rule.

3.    Smile
A smile is infectious or why else is Mona Lisa famous. Smile all the time and even the most grouchy person will smile.
4.    Participate
Participate in group activities because this is one of the best ways to know people and understand them. You might think someone is bad but when you are out doing something together you discover that they are not bad at all.
5.    Pray
You cannot do everything on your own. You need a good support system. Prayer is healthier for your soul and your soul navigates your mind while your mind gives the body the will to perform.
6.    Sleep
When you are in a difficult environment, get some good sleep because you will be needing all the energy you can get. When you get enough sleep your body relaxes and therefore stress is not easily triggered. A mind and body well rested is a good investment to propel the day.
7.    Speak up
If the pain is more than you can take then speak and let it be known that you do not like what is going on.
All in all, we all need some shock absorbers but if symptoms persist, walk out and leave with grace and dignity.
