Hacks to make Life Easier in your Kitchen

Avocadoes are sweet. This kind of sweetness can only be enjoyed if the fruit is well ripened. Finding the perfect avocado can be hard but it is not impossible to make a perfect one for yourself by making it ripen well.
How to Ripen Avocados Quickly:
Place 2-3 avocados in a brown paper bag and store at room temperature. If you don't have paper bags on hand, wrapping them in newspaper will also do. This will accelerate the natural ripening process.
For even quicker ripening, add an apple, banana or a tomato to the bag.
Check daily to see if avocados are ripe yet. Don't just judge by their color, as some varieties will retain their green color, even when ripe, rather than turning a deep greenish brown.
Cooking is an art and therefore you need to ensure that your working space in the kitchen is not a mess. You should also ensure that you observe good hygiene in the kitchen. Ensure all left overs are covered or else you will be having roaches.
Keep pots from boiling over
Prevent overboiling by placing a wooden spoon across a pot. Because wood is not a good material for conducting heat, the hot water strays away from the handle.
Get creative with covering food
They’re known for hair hackery, but shower caps are not limited to the bathroom. Cover leftovers with a fresh cap (right in their dishes) to keep bugs and unidentifiable particles from tainting food. They’re reusable and a helluva lot easier than repeatedly removing and replacing plastic wrap or tin foil.
